Melissa is based in Vero Beach where she specializes in risk management related to unique, luxury property and assets.

The Society of CPRM is a key member of The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, the nation’s preeminent provider of insurance and risk management education. The National Alliance conducts more than 2500 programs annually throughout all 50 states, Virgin Islands, Mexico, Puerto Rico and around the world. This program is designed to serve individuals practicing insurance and risk management so that they may better serve their affluent and high net worth clientele’s unique insurance and risk management requirements.

Melissa has successfully completed five CPRM courses and the corresponding comprehensive examinations that focus on all major fields of risk and client management – personal client risk management, understanding coverage differences, the affluent and high net worth client, evaluating and protecting the lifestyle, practical application of personal risk management, and winning the business: the art of presentation.

With over 21 years of experience in the insurance industry, Melissa’s expertise is insuring multi-million-dollar homes in the coastal market. This also includes protection in specialized liability programs, yachts, collectibles, and vehicles. Melissa graduated with a BBA in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and is a Certified Insurance Counselor. She is a member of the Florida Association of Insurance Agents and the Private Risk Management Association. She is an active member of the community and involved with several organizations, including the Gifford Youth Achievement Center, Children’s Home Society, First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach, Healthy Start Coalition, and Childcare Resources of Indian River.
