Sterling Seacrest Pritchard Elects Five New Partners

Sterling Seacrest Pritchard (SSP), one of the nation’s top 100 commercial insurance brokerages, is pleased to announce the election of five new partners. Voted in by the firm’s shareholders, these appointments reflect a continued  investment in leadership, long-term growth, and client service excellence across multiple practice areas.

Meet the New Partners

Charles “Charlie” Caswell, Jr. – Atlanta

Based in the company’s Atlanta office, Charles “Charlie” Caswell, Jr. specializes in real estate and construction. A native of Atlanta, Charlie works closely alongside his father, who brings more than 40 years of experience in this space. Together, they support clients across a wide range of development and construction projects.

Beyond his professional focus, Charlie is deeply involved in the community. He has served as President of the Northside Athletes Foundation and remains active with NYO, Soccer in the Streets, and additional sports-driven nonprofit organizations. Charlie earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Tennessee.

Will Godwin – Atlanta

Also based in Atlanta, Will Godwin advises private equity groups, family offices, and corporations. His work centers on property and casualty insurance and employee benefits due diligence, transactional risk placement, and post-close insurance implementation.

With more than eight years of insurance industry experience, Will supports companies across diverse sectors, including construction, consumer, industrial, and real estate. In addition, he is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth and currently serves on its Emerging Leaders Advisory Committee. Will received a Bachelor of Science degree in Supply Chain Management and Marketing from the University of Tennessee.

Ray Greer – Birmingham

Ray Greer is based in SSP’s Birmingham office and brings more than 15 years of industry experience. His primary focus is property and casualty insurance, serving clients in distribution, manufacturing, and construction markets.

In addition to his client work, Ray is actively engaged in professional organizations, including the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Alabama Chapter, Associated General Contractors (AGC), and the Southeast Produce Council. He is also involved in leadership at Briarwood Presbyterian Church. Ray earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance form Louisiana Tech University.

Walt Lee – Atlanta

Walt Lee operates out of the firm’s Atlanta office, where he specializes in risk management and comprehensive commercial insurance solutions. With over 20 years of experience, his client base includes companies in construction, manufacturing, and distribution.

Equally important to Walt is community involvement. He is an active member of Roswell Presbyterian Church and frequently volunteers with the church’s children’s ministry. Walt holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Valdosta State University.

Greg Palmer – Tampa 

Based in SSP’s Tampa office, Greg Palmer brings more than 10 years of experience with a primary focus on construction. Specifically, he supports contractors through tailored property and casualty insurance solutions and surety bond programs.

Moreover, Greg is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and serves on the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Gulf Coast Chapter Membership Committee. He also volunteers with Copperhead Charities, an organization that has raised more than $52 million for Tampa Bay-area charities since 1977. Greg earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from Presbyterian College.
