Katie Vansant joined SSP in 2024 as a Client Advisor based in Atlanta. She specializes in Surety and Construction.

After gaining several years of experience in surety underwriting, Katie decided to switch to producing to help clients find solutions to their needs. Having worked with SSP during her time as an underwriter, Katie felt SSP would provide her with the resources to grow as a producer and effectively work with clients.

A creative problem solver, Katie provides tailor-made solutions for her clients. “I’m excited to say ‘yes’ to clients,” Katie said. “You really get the best of both worlds with SSP. You get the relational care of a small broker, but the excellent service and resources of a large broker.”

Katie is involved in her community and uses her time outside of work to be a member of Surety Association of Georgia, Associated General Contractors of Georgia, and Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia. Katie is also a coach for Girls on the Run.

An Atlanta native, Katie returned to the area after graduating from Tulane University with a Bachelor’s in business management and a Master’s in accounting. She now lives in Chamblee with her husband and their two Australian Shepherds.
