United Way of the Coastal Empire celebrates $10.3 million fundraising efforts at luncheon

The United Way of the Coastal Empire, as well as a lively representation of the donors and volunteers who make up Team United, met Wednesday for their annual luncheon, where they celebrated their fundraising efforts over the last year.

The local United Way organization raised over $10.3 million during its 2022-2023 campaign. Those dollars will be used to support over 80 programs across 50 local nonprofits.

Additionally, United Way named its incoming board chairman, Ken Rabitsch of Synovus Bank, and its incoming campaign chairman, Jay Wilson of International Paper.
