Shane Wingo is a Client Advisor in SSP’s Tampa office, specializing in employee benefits strategies that help employers make more informed decisions and maximize the value of their health plans. By combining data transparency, analytics, and employee advocacy, he works with organizations to build benefits programs that improve outcomes for both employers and their employees.
A graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Marketing, Shane brings a diverse sales background spanning healthcare, technology, and employee benefits consulting. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive experience advising employers on benefit plan design, self-funding strategies, cost containment, and long-term benefits planning.
Shane was drawn to SSP’s independent model because it allows him to prioritize what matters most: serving clients’ best interests without compromise. He is passionate about helping employers gain a deeper understanding of their benefits data and using those insights to create more effective, sustainable programs that support their workforce.
Outside of work, Shane is actively involved in his community through organizations including Meals on Wheels, United Way, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He and his wife, who have been married for nearly 30 years, enjoy spending time with their growing family, including their children, grandson, and another grandchild on the way. He also enjoys writing and playing music in his free time.
