Known for making the complex simple, John harnesses intellectual capital gleaned from three decades of critical thinking about risk management and risk transfer solutions. Certitude from an agnostic viewpoint is what John’s clients rely upon in protecting their assets.

Routinely approached to speak to organizations nationwide, John regularly appears in the press on risk management and insurance topics.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Furman University. Before Furman, he attended The Baylor School in Chattanooga and graduated from The Westminster Schools in Atlanta.

John is the past Chairman of SecureRisk, LLC (a cooperative venture of 100+ agencies across the Southeast that ranks as the 4th largest Agency Partnership in the U.S. by Insurance Journal).

An Eagle Scout, John enjoys his service as an Assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 232 (a troop his grandfather founded almost 60 years ago in service to Atlanta’s youth). With a dedication to giving back, John has coached football, basketball, baseball, and softball through the Northside Youth Organization for almost 30 years and serves on its Board of Directors. He also is a Past Chairman of The Schenck School and a former board member of the Wiskott-Aldrich Foundation, Camp Kudzu, and the Westminster Catbackers.

John and his wife, Mary reside in Sandy Springs and have two sons and a daughter.
