Tessa Garrett is a Private Client Advisor at Sterling Seacrest Pritchard based in Atlanta, Georgia. A lifelong Atlanta resident, Tessa studied Political Science at both Clemson University and Georgia State University and holds a paralegal certificate from Emory University.

Before transitioning into insurance, Tessa spent nearly a decade working as a paralegal across multiple law firms, supporting a range of practice areas including commercial real estate and regulatory law. In 2022, she entered the insurance industry as a licensed agent and holds both Property & Casualty and Life licenses. Her background includes significant experience serving financially successful households, managing complex personal insurance portfolios that include high-value homes, vehicles, collectibles, fine art, jewelry, and specialized liability programs.

Tessa joined SSP’s Private Client Group for its purpose-built approach to serving high-net-worth clients, as well as the firm’s scale, reputation, and culture. She is actively pursuing her CIC and CPRIA designations and has earned Dynamics of Selling certification, along with consistent top producer recognition.

Outside of work, Tessa is actively involved at West Ridge Church, volunteering on the production and video team, and is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia and the Private Risk Management Association. She lives in Marietta with her husband and three children and enjoys spending time with her family, playing mahjong, working in the yard, traveling, and visiting the beach with their yellow Labrador, Rex.
